The Data Editor Module workflow creates an environment for attribute editing of the collision record. There are three types of accounts: Editor, Manager, and Superuser. The editor can make changes to the collision records, and must submit it for review for manager approval before the record is permanently saved in the database. A list of non-reviewed or rejected edits by the manager are placed in the pending edits tab.
Editor Console: The editor is console is pictured below and allows access to flagged collisions (See Flagged Collisions) and Pending Edits tab.
Manager Console: The manager console has the functionality of the editor with the addition of a Pending Reviews tab that lists all the edits that need to be reviewed from editors or other managers. In the example below, the Pending Edits and the Pending Reviews are equal because all the edits were made by this manager. In most cases where there are multiple editors and managers, the Pending Edits and Pending Reviews total should not be equal. If a two-step review and approval process is not needed, it would be more appropriate to designate the manager as a Superuser.
